Last week on the way back from Nagoya Family trip at Gifu, we have a short break at Gifu Mosque. It really nice and new Mosque. You should come and visit here.

* By bus: from “Gifu-eki (岐阜駅)” (JR line Nagoya Honsen), take a bus central of the station for “Gifu daigaku (岐阜大学 Gifu University)”. Take off at “Gidai Guchi (岐大口)” bus stop. Walk about 10 minutes.

At Taoyuan International Airport, I saw 3 prayer rooms. For Muslim there is special room for you to pray. It was very interesting and convenience.

Nihon Go Class Summer Party

On 12 July 2011, Tuesday we have Summer Party at Nagoya University's International Resident. Really enjoy all the activities and foods from various of countries. We have Sate, Keropok, Jelly, Okonomiyaki, variety of fruits etc. We also have Poco-Poco Dance and Japanese Traditional Dance.

Ichinomiya Mosque

On the way to Tower Park, we visit Ichinomiya Mosque for Asar prayer. At first, it is difficult to find the mosque because we just insert the postcode (491-0821) to the navigator system. Fortunately, one brother from Ichinomiya mosque fetch us at Circle K and show us the way to the mosque. Thanks to Allah for all His blessing and helps.

Thus, I capture a Rice Shop phone number to make easier to find the mosque. From the rice shop, you can see the Mosque building in Yellow colour just in front of the rice shop.

Therefore, the phone number is just for the vehicle navigator function and DO NOT call the Rice Shop for guidance/direction.

Masa awal2 samapai di Jepun ni antara misi yang dijalankan ialah mencari Malaysia Community in Nagoya. Disebabkan tak de nombor contact sesiapa selain En. Fazli, so kami pun pergi lah mencari Masjid di Nagoya ni dengan harapan dapat berjumpa dengan rakan-rakan sepejuangan di sana. Kebetulan pula masa kami pergi ke Masjid tu hari Jumaat. Selepas selesai solat Jumaat orang Malaysia yang kedua kami jumpa ialah Abg KJ dari PLUS yang kebetulan solat di situ. Alhamdulillah, Abg KJ give us some information about the Halal Restaurant (Gendara), Turkis Kebab and Kedai Halal yang berhampiran dengan Masjid Nagoya. Hari ni our foster family bawa gi Masjid di Nagoya Port. Inilah masjid yang pertama kami lawati setelah 2 minggu berada di Nagoya. Walaupun foster family kami berlainan agama, tapi kami saling menghormati dan memahami antara satu sama lain. Alhamdulillah, akhirnya dapat juga melihat Masjid di bumi Nagoya, Jepun. Walaupun rekabentuknya agak simple, namun penuh dengan pengisian dan aktiviti sepanjang bulan Ramadhan yang mulia ini. Mereka adakan aktiviti Iftar dan solat Tarawih setiap hari. Menarikkan. Walaupun bukan di Negara Islam, namun amalanya tetap sama. Itulah keindahan agama Islam. Di masjid ini juga ada tempat solat utk ibu-ibu ya..
